    Metsäenergia-alan verkkoportaali kokoaa alan kansainvälisen huippuosaamisen yhteen verkkopalveluun.

    Pohjois-Karjalan ja suomalaisen luonnon maamerkki Koli on kehittyvä ympäristö. Koli Cultura - keskus on tämän kehityksen ytimessä. Toteuttamamme Kolicultura.fi verkkopalvelu kehittyy myös projektin mukana ja mahdollistaa toimijoiden välisen aktiivisen vuorovaikutuksen.

    RoK-FOR - projektin verkkopalvelu on yksi toteuttamistamme EU-projektien toiminta-alustoista. iCMS - järjestelmällä kaikki toimijat voivat tuottaa ja muokata sisältökokonaisuuksia suoraan myös omalla kielellään.

    Carelmet on metallialan yritysverkosto, joka yhdistää jäsentensä huippuosaamisen kokonaisvaltaiseksi palveluksi asiakkailleen. Palvelu toteutettiin iCMS - sisällönhallintajärjestelmälle ja sen ulkoasusta vastaa Grafex.

The Fours Steps of Website Production

1 - Requirement Analysis and Project plan

The first step of any project is mapping the customer's wishes as well as defining the purpose and objectives of the project - in this case, the website.
Our Content Management System iCMS is modular, which allows you to pick the features you need for your web service.

Along with the requirement analysis, we create a project plan and schedule, defining the features included, definition of possible custom features and the key dates for the project.

2 - Visual Design

The Visual Design for the website is the second step. In the design, we incorporate both the materials and Graphical Guidelines from the Client and the structural needs based fromthe Requirement Analysis. The visual layout is produced following the Best Practices in Web usability - in our work, form always follows function. 

Our delivery model also allows the use of 3rd party designs. This means that you can also get the visual design from the same Design agency you use for other corporate design.

We have implemented a number of online services in cooperation with various advertising agencies.

3 - Installing the iCMS content management system

A successful website combines stylish design and functional back-end system. To benefit from the fine appearance created in step 2,  the website needs to have an easy to use content management system to handle the data and user interaction. iCMS is the ideal solution, suiting both small enterprise sites and large portals.

Amongst other thing, iCMS enables you to:

  • Upload multiple images at once to the image bank and create stunning Image Galleries, or place pictures to pages in the way you want.

In spite of versatility the use of the system is very easy to learn.
In the planning stage of the system engineering designs have been thrown into the dustbin, and the usability is thought specifically from the view of a normal end-user. That is why our system is ideal, for example, for working environments where the pages have to be constantly updated with new information.

Learning to use the system does not require any previous experience in updating websites. Basic computer skills are sufficient.
User training will take approximately 2.5 hours and you are ready to go!

 

Hosting Services for your new website

Our Hosting Services for iCMS websites always contain at least the following:

  • 1 GB of disk space on the server

  • Name Services for the Internet address

  • Registration fees for one address

  • An email spam and virus filter

  • web-based e-mail management program, which allows you to create an unlimited number of email addresses

  • Webmail (web-based e-mail program)

  • Service-specific MySQL database used by the iCMS system

Sites are published after the initial contents have been refined and the website has been tested in development environment.

If you already have an address for your website, we will transfer it without additional costs.
